Давно я не читала The Times

Зашла на их сайт - а он весь платный. Ладно, попробую Le Monde или El Pais. Люблю читать именно консервативную прессу. Она написана хорошим языком, не то что либеральная.

UPD: Как это ни смешно, но французы и строчки теперь бесплатно прочесть не дают.

Но поиск показал:
- В Таймсе только один материал о нашем бардаке вокруг Лужкова
- В Монде Мари Жего уже дала материал о возможнойотставке Лужкова, привязав его к готовящейся президентской кампании 2012.
- Эль Паис молчит в тряпочку, выжидает, что будет дальше.


Если кто из журналистов имеет доступ на сайты Монда и Таймса, может, пришлет от щедрот мне материалы, что они там печатают про все это безобразие?

departure to Austria, that may be final.

Money and politics are never far apart. In Russia, rumors of the
possible departure of Moscow's ultimate power couple—Mayor Yuri
Luzhkov and his wife, Yelena Baturina, Russia's richest woman—is being
blamed for some of the recent decline in the ruble. Mr. Luzkhov, who
has ruled Russia's capital with an iron fist for almost two decades,
has come under heavy attack from Russia's state-owned television
networks in what locals see as evidence he has fallen out with the
Kremlin.

Among the allegations made by state television, Mr. Luzkhov has been
accused of helping his wife, worth an estimated $2.9 billion as the
head of construction firm Inteko, by sending plum contracts her way.
The couple each deny the allegations. But if they are forced to leave
the country, traders fear they might try to liquidate their Russian
assets—adding to the current gloom over the ruble.
